I grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona and have trained primarily with Arizona School of Classical Ballet, The School of Ballet Arizona, and Rena Backer School of Ballet. Additionally, I attended summer intensives and master classes around the valley with Master Ballet, Scottsdale School of Ballet, and Phoenix Ballet Theatre to name a few. Growing up at Ballet Arizona, I was fortunate enough to have been cast in various productions in children's roles. This inspired my passion for ballet, live music, and the experience of ballets.
In college at Purdue, I took time away from ballet while pursuing an engineering degree and military commission. While at Purdue, I found dance one again while taking ballet from the division of dance and student organizations. I choreographed and performed with Purdue XSeries, and loosened up with the Swing Dancing club. After a change of course, I decided to return to ballet full time and moved to Chicago to train with Ballet Chicago. There, I had the opportunity to learn and perform Balanchine repertoire and expand on my classical Russian training. One of my favorite performances so far has been a principal role in Divertimento No. 15.
I joined Canyon Concert Ballet in 2024 and have performed various roles in productions such as Michael Pappalardo’s Dracula, Nutcracker, Romeo & Juliet, Giselle, Rite of Spring, as well as contemporary work from local artists. I am excited to continue to dance with the company again this season.
